Do Not use them!!!! Kate Debon failed to file My husband's retirement and it cost us 2.7k from the IRS and 2.7k from the state. Her response was nonchalant and took zero ownership of any of her actions or lack thereof. Sadly we previously used them the year prior and filed a retirement retirement don't just go away...3/5/24Since I posted this review I have been contacted by the business owner. She had taken the time to review the emails and my claims. She apologized and took ownership. I highly respect this. This staff member no longer works here -not because of this issue-. The Owner has fixed the state tax return and offered to send me a check for the penalties I had to pay for the state and federal tax. I appreciate her willingness to acknowledge her employee's error as well as offering to help mitigate the affect it had on our family.

If you choose an unwise CPA, you will pay for later. In 2008, a dear friend directed us to Fish, Streyffeler & Ulmer Ltd. Chris Ulmer never made me feel stupid. He had compassion and helped us to get back on track. A few years ago, Michelle Moody took over and greatly helped us recently, through a very difficult situation. Her guidance step by step got us through a REAL storm. They are true professionals. You can trust, Michelle and Chris, with all your tax and accounting concerns. They really care! I would never go anywhere else for my taxes!! Mr. King is amazing, and has made my family his own. For this reason alone I wouldn't look anywhere else, but then there's more! This tax office takes time annually to stay current on the laws and changes and they've gotten me back the largest refunds that I've ever had. I was referred to Chris Ulmer by my parents, who actually began their journey with him in 1999, before he became a partner at FSU Ltd. Their first year with him saved my parents over $3,000. He found deductions for their business that Turbotax (for business) didn't find. From that moment on, Chris has been their 'hero".In 2007, I finally took my parents advice and called Chris. I've been with him every year since then and I can attest to the fact that he really knows tax and tax laws. He's said to me on many occasions that he's not just there for me during tax season, he's there all year long to answer any and all questions that come up during the year.
